The Journal of International Humanitarian Legal Studies is looking for an Assistant Editor to join its editorial team.
The Assistant Editor will have particular responsibility for the Journal’s reviews section. They will assist the Reviews Editor, Dr Marco Longobardo, to commission review essays and book reviews, and marshal them through the publication process. This will include communicating with the authors of book reviews and book publishers, and checking accepted reviews for compliance with the Journal’s style guide. The position is unpaid.

The Journal of International Humanitarian Legal Studies is a biannual peer-reviewed journal published by Brill. The objective of the Journal is to explore the application of international law to humanitarian crises and, more specifically, to examine the role that this legal framework plays in protecting human security during times of emergency.
